The research and development team of REMI sa taking into consideration professional’s needs nowadays has designed and created the parasol series “Horizon” aiming at making the most out of outdoors spaces and time through the incorporation of electrical accessories (IR heaters, LED lights, etc) on the inside of the umbrella when it is closed.
The specially designed electrical mechanism with the contact switch turns on and off automatically the IR heaters and the LED lights in the opening and closing of the parasol.

At the same time the telescopic mechanism combined with the double wire ropes allows the fastest and safest opening and closing of the parasol without having to remove the tables and chairs located underneath (the edge of the rib going over the back of the chairs and tables).
The parasols series “Horizon” is produced in square and parallelogram geometries up to 25m2.
The frame of the parasol series “Horizon” is made of a special aluminum alloy of very high hardness and durability, with 8 ribs of special sliding reinforced aluminum profile, 40x20x2mm dimension. The main pole of the parasol is made by a specially studied and designed aluminum profile and as a result the correct function and durability of the parasol in harsh weather conditions is ensured. In the main pole of the parasol “Horizon” there is the option of internal wiring installation for LED lights and IR heating.
The operation mechanism of the “Horizon” parasol is internal with the use of a crank and specially designed for this series of parasols with some features from the last successful series “Astra”.
The internal mechanism ensures the balanced motion in the opening and closing of the parasol.
The powder coating of the frame is electrostatic and is performed using polyester powder which is the most suitable for painting parasols which are installed near seaside areas with increased humidity and salty water.
The thickness of the powder coating is 80μm and basic colour is white RAL9010. Additional colours are available upon request.

The fabric of the parasol is produced by separate pieces of acrylic textile which are sewn together in special sewing machines with rolled hem and highly resistant threads.
The support of the fabric on the parasol frame is achieved by special fixtures and bolts.
All the fabrics are equipped with an air vent on their top, therefore the parasols can withstand the strongest winds.
The fabrics used on the parasols are acrylic (DOLAN) 280gr/m2, 100% waterproof with indelible colours from the best European factories and in a wide variety of hues.
