The coverage of the Astra parasols models starts from 24 and reaches up to 42 square meters. Astra parasols can also include IR Heaters, LED Lights and Textile Rain Gutters.

The parasols series “ASTRA” is a product of research and innovative ergonomic design. As a result, REMI has produced a unique series of telescopic extra heavy-duty type for the complete shading of medium and large-sized outdoor spaces. “ASTRA” can be produced in custom-made sizes requested by the customer, providing a tailor-made experience.
The shape of the “ASTRA” parasol depends on the unique geometry of every outdoor space, thus the customer can choose between cyclic(octagon), square and parallelogram shapes. The innovation of the inner telescopic mechanism this umbrella has, allows for quick closing when it is required without removing tables and chairs that are underneath it (the edge of the ribs goes over the back of the seats).
In this parasol series, electric accessories such as LED lights and infrared heaters can be included via internal “hidden” wiring installation.
The frame of the parasol series “ASTRA” is produced from special high-stress resistance and hardness aluminum alloy, with 8,10 or 12 spokes and secondary reinforced sliding spokes, of dimensions 40x20x2mm.
The main pole of the parasols is made of a specially researched and designed extruded aluminum profile and as a result the proper operation and the durability of the umbrella in extreme weather conditions are ensured.
The design of this profile provides the option of internal wiring for the installation of LED lights and infrared heaters as well as the installation of an internal operation mechanism which contributes to the ergonomics of this parasol series.
The operation mechanism is internal and specifically designed by REMI for the Astra parasol. The internal mechanism which is operating with an external crank ensures the easy, fast and safe opening and closing of the parasol.
The powder coating of the frame is electrostatic and is performed using polyester powder which is the most suitable for painting parasols which are installed near seaside areas with increased humidity and salty air.
The thickness of the powder coating is 80μm and the basic colour is white RAL9010. Additional colours are available upon request.
The fabric of the parasol is produced by separate pieces of acrylic textile which are sewn together in special sewing machines with rolled hem and highly resistant threads.
The support of the fabric on the parasol frame is achieved by special fixtures and bolts.
The fabrics used on the parasols are acrylic (DOLAN) 280gr/m2, 100% waterproof with indelible colours from the best European factories and in a wide variety of hues.
All the “ASTRA” parasols include special manufactured aluminum air vents which are installed on the top of the parasol’s frame. The air vent releases a huge volume of air that contributes to the parasol’s durability.
The main pole of the “Astra” parasols is an aluminum extrusion product of a special alloy of high hardness that makes it resistant to mechanical and weather stresses.
The design of this profile provides the option of internal “hidden” wiring for the installation of LED lights and infrared heaters as well as the installation of an internal operation mechanism which contributes to the ergonomics of this parasol series.
The Internal cast mechanism is designed especially for the parasol series “Astra”. The ergonomically designed grip of the mechanism combined with the internal operation stop, ensures easy, fast and safe operation of the parasol series “Astra”.
The electrostatic powder coating of the frame is performed for colouring the surface of the aluminum and its protection from weather damages such as UV radiation, humidity, salty water, etc.

The frame’s painting is also performed in the individual parts/ accessories before the parasol’s assembly.
The fabrics of the parasols are acrylic (Dolan) 280gr/m2, waterproof with indelible colours and the quality of the Austrian company Sattler. The fabrics consist of separate pieces of textile which are sewn together in special sewing machines with rolled hem and highly resistant threads.
All the fabrics are equipped with an air vent on their top, therefore the parasols can withstand the strongest winds.
The support of the fabric on the parasol frame is achieved by special fixtures and bolts.
The fabrics of the “Astra” parasols can be manufactured with or without valance, on which the logo of customer’s enterprise can be printed.
The air vent of the parasol series “Astra” is manufactured from aluminum and placed at the top of the parasol’s frame.
The air vent contributes in the pressure release of air’s large volume, as a result the parasol is even more durable.
